We were to commence an admission application at NSCC (Nova Scotia Community College) for an intending student yesterday. She was looking to get a January start date for her choice programs.
Lo and behold, no January start date was showing on NSCC’s admission portal, so I put a phone call across to the school and was told they had stopped January intake for the 2 courses this student wanted and that they are looking to put an end to January start dates for all their courses, meaning they want to stick with just September start date.
This was quite shocking (and sad) as we still helped some students with a January start date for this year.
So I thought to inform you on here incase you have plans to get a January start date for a program at NSCC.
When it comes to Canada, things can change within the slightest second, from school admission requirements, immigration laws, provincial nominee programs, Express entry NOC, e.t.c.
So when it comes to your Canadian dream (whether PR, school admission, study visa, visit visa application e.t.c, do not procrastinate, things change a lot. I extend this to my life in general, I try my best not to procrastinate what I can do today till tomorrow.
