I got the above message from a friend. WES nullified her ECA application because of name discrepancies.
If my memory serves me well, I included a newspaper publication of my change of name and my marriage certificate to WES in 2014 to prove why the name on my degree certificate differs from the name on the application. I was not married when I graduated so I was bearing my maiden name. My friend said she didn’t attach any proof, so I’m guessing probably that’s the reason for the refusal.
I just searched online and found few people with same issue as my friend.
Did anyone on here experience same? Or does anyone know what my friend can do? I asked her to email WES and also advised her to attach all necessary proofs.
I sought my friend’s consent to share this on here so other people don’t fall into such situation with WES or any other organization that renders same service. I would advise that you provide proof and give explanations if need be. Also in this process, always ask as many questions as possible, research, read up materials, seek help, get an immigration consultant if need be, just do all you can (legally) to make a headway and to avoid loss of time and money.
