We considered visiting Cape Breton last summer but changed our minds when we realized it was over 5 hours from Halifax. You can imagine driving for over 5 hours within the same province on good road network, so no serious traffic. That’s to tell you how big Canada is.
We took a road trip to another neighbouring province instead, which was Prince Edward Island, a journey of less than 4 hours. It was such a beautiful experience.
Hopefully we visit Cape Breton Island as we hear it’s a beautiful place.
